PROFESSIONAL APPLICATOR

Morris Coop has an opportunity within our Agronomy Department for a Full Time Custom Applicator. As a Custom Applicator you will apply fertilizer and crop protection products with company owned equipment (floater, high clearance sprayer, tractor). You will work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner while delivering a high level of quality and service. 

Duties to include but not limited to:

            • Custom application of dry/liquid fertilizer and NH3                                                                                                                                            • Custom application of chemicals                                                                                                                                                                                      • Have a working knowledge of and be able to treat seed                                                                                                                                    • Load and unload bulk and package chemical                                                                                                                                                              • Load and unload dry or liquid fertilizer                                                                                                                                                                          • Load NH3 tanks                                                                                                                                                                                                                          • Mix dry fertilizer                                                                                                                                                                                                                          • Drive dry or liquid tender truck                                                                                                                                                                                        • Drive loader                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  • Unload bulk beans                                                                                                                                                                                                                      • Equipment and facility maintenance                                                                                                                                                                              • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned                                                                    

Requirements

            • Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire                                              • Commercial Pesticide Applicator License with seed treatment endorsement or ability to obtain within                                 30 days of hire                                                                                                                                                                                                                              • Clean MVR and insurability                                                                                                                                                                                                  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

AGRONOMY INTERNSHIPS

We are seeking to fill several agronomy internships at our full agronomy facility. Positions would be available spring through the summer and into fall. Work and learn the many aspects of our agronomy center including seed treatment, seed delivery, plant and leaf sampling, crop scouting, plot seeding and upkeep, warehouse support, in-field application support (spreading of fertilizer and spraying of chemicals).  ALIGNMENT & TIRE POSITION

We are seeking a self-motivated, self-directed individual for full-time ALIGNMENT SPECIALIST & TIRE Position, responsible for alignments, tire mounting & balancing, oil changes, tire sales, greeting customers, and other automotive service and repair duties assigned by management. 

Applicants must have automotive/mechanical training, or related experience. Have and maintain a valid driver's license. Have strong mechanical & troubleshooting skills and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Have excellent customer service, be organizational, and have multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.

MECHANIC

We are seeking a self-motivated, self-directed individual for a full-time MECHANIC for light automotive repairs, including tire mounting & balancing, oil changes, brakes, shocks, wiring, exhaust work and other basic automotive service & repair duties. This position includes some tire sales and giving our customers a great customer experience.

STATION ATTENDANT - PARTTIME

We have an opening for a part-time Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service and perform day to day functions at the station. This position includes sale transactions; stocking merchandise; keeping shelves, counters, floors, and pumps neat and clean; filling portable propane tanks; and other duties assigned by the station or general manger.

Candidates must have ability to learn Point of Sales system; have basic math skills; be organized, detailed oriented and able to multi-task; work as a team and independently; and be able to left 50 pounds. 

Hours are somewhat flexible and will include some Saturday mornings.  We offer competitive wages based on experience and knowledge.
